Well, I think it is safe to say I have been a little slow one getting everything going on here. To be frank, the primary reason is my day job and multiple freelance contracts with intersecting deadlines. I will however be working my hardest to do some of the following:

• Get all of my portfolio pieces online, there are a lot, and only one up here is representative of my work
• A minimum of one blog post a week (I would love to do five, but realistically, lets start with one)
• Some new headers, although I don’t mind the header on the portfolio page, I think it could offer more.

Anyways… a little update to what I have been getting involved in recently.

• Took a full time, permanent merchandising/promotions role at Conestoga College, very excited to start! This position is growth in the right direction and offer some serious long-term possibilities!
• Finishing work on the Sportco Source for Sports site, their current one is in a major need of updating, this should be launching in the coming week
• Securing new contract work with the following local businesses: Siht Optical (Bauer Lofts) and Melitsa’s (The Belmont Village)
• There are couple other sites that are coming down the pipe but the above ones are the priority as of current.

I think that is all for now and hope everyone keeps checking back for updates as I will be getting portfolio items up as quick as possible.

The above statement could not be more true, I mean wow. A while back I stumbled upon Poolga by pure chance and although I had given it shout outs on Twitter, I thought it was worthy of a brief post as I decided on a quick visit back to Poolga to see any updates after noticing it in my bookmarks.

Truly, Poolga is the best iPhone wallpaper source out there, now of course, some may argue that Interfacelift may be better, but frankly it is not, unless we are talking desktop wallpapers.

Anyhow, everyone with an iPhone or iPod touch should check it out – so to summarize once again Poolga = Love. Also, I should point out, Poolga is brought to you by We Love Books, which focuses on layout and design of books, truly masters at their art.

So essentially you could call this a test post but as I began typing it while sitting here watching a television program it truly made me think how effective having an iPad would be. The obvious argument could be that my MacBook would do however I truly feel an iPad would be much more casual experience. Don’t get me wrong though for any type of long winded post a keyboard would be required but for something short winded like this the iPad would be fine.

Years of waiting, and a few days after the announcement of the Apple iPad I have some things I would like to say. Specifically, when this is released I will, yes will be purchasing it. Despite all of the negative comments surrounding it. Basically it is justified to me because of the ability to simply pick it up while on the couch, or in the kitchen, or lying in bed and browse the Internet the way I think it was meant to be browsed.

Yes, I mean the iBooks will be excellent, and the App Store will hit a new high, but really I think versus sitting in bed with my MacBook just to read some tech articles it will be far superior.

Well, this is my new web presence, it is indeed about time. I would truly like to make this my new home for anything I feel I need to write about. So with any luck, you will start to see a ton of new posts over the next couple weeks.
