Well, I think it is safe to say I have been a little slow one getting everything going on here. To be frank, the primary reason is my day job and multiple freelance contracts with intersecting deadlines. I will however be working my hardest to do some of the following:
- Get all of my portfolio pieces online, there are a lot, and only one up here is representative of my work
- A minimum of one blog post a week (I would love to do five, but realistically, lets start with one)
- Some new headers, although I don’t mind the header on the portfolio page, I think it could offer more.
Anyways… a little update to what I have been getting involved in recently.
- Took a full time, permanent merchandising/promotions role at Conestoga College, very excited to start! This position is growth in the right direction and offer some serious long-term possibilities!
- Finishing work on the Sportco Source for Sports site, their current one is in a major need of updating, this should be launching in the coming week
- Securing new contract work with the following local businesses: Siht Optical (Bauer Lofts) and Melitsa’s (The Belmont Village)
- There are couple other sites that are coming down the pipe but the above ones are the priority as of current.
I think that is all for now and hope everyone keeps checking back for updates as I will be getting portfolio items up as quick as possible.
Well, here is my little shout out to an old friend, and a great chef. Chad Barchard has started his fresh new e-zine, gladly hosted on my domain. It focuses on vegan inspired delights and some personal excerpts from Chad himself. Everyone who is looking for a hip new treat should definitely check this out!
Head on over to a boy, a bean, and twelve small stones (name could change), you won’t be disappointed, I assure you. All the best Chad.
Well, this is my new web presence, it is indeed about time. I would truly like to make this my new home for anything I feel I need to write about. So with any luck, you will start to see a ton of new posts over the next couple weeks. But, in the meantime, be patient while I prepare myself for this commitment and get the portfolio organized to go online.
