Frequently asked questions
What does the $2,000 starting price cover?
It’s the starting point for a new website, not a fixed package for every project. The estimate depends on the pages, design work, content, features and integrations involved. We’ll agree on what’s included, what you’re supplying and any ongoing costs before work starts.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes. We’ll identify the content you need to manage and build the editing tools around it. I use WordPress blocks and ACF where they suit the job, and include editing guidance in the handoff. A new feature or a major layout change may still need development.
What will I own, and what has an ongoing cost?
The site is built on WordPress. Before work starts, we’ll agree on ownership and handover, who controls the domain and hosting accounts, and any paid tools or licences. I’ll make those responsibilities clear in the scope so you can make an informed decision.
Do I need a rebuild, or can you improve what I have?
Start by sending me the current site and the problems you’re trying to solve. A focused set of improvements may be enough. My WordPress support service is a good place to start if most of the site still works for you.
